Why buy from us ?

Our Durians are from Pahang, located in “Region 2” of Malaysia comprising of the West, Central & South region, there are 2 dry spells lasting 2-3 weeks in the months of January -February & July -Aug. We pay extremely close attention to the weather forecast and plan our harvesting activities according, ensuring the most intense flavour possible.

So to answer the question above, the unique aspect of our Durian is that they have been expertly cultivated.

We have carefully watered our trees for proper fruit development, pruned excess flowers off them and schedule each harvest before the monsoons if possible as an excess of water will cause the tree to bear new leaves at the expense of its fruits.

All the above measures matters because the quality of the fruit, especially its sweetness and intensity depends on the age of the tree, the amount of water it gets and the amount of flowers/fruits each tree bears. These factors all affect the tastes of the Durian.

Less Flowers = Brighter flowers = sweeter nectars = better tasting fruits !

Too much water results or flowers per tree result in a less intense flavour and blander taste.
